News
The City is restoring a large section of Terrace Oaks Park. The project will remove invasive plant species, restore the native plant community, improve wildlife habitat and improve the health of existing oak trees. Several sections of trails will be closed for three weeks during the project. Learn more and view the trail closure map on our Natural Resources page.

Terrace Oaks East is a 4-acre, neighborhood park located on the south side of Burnsville Parkway, 1/2 mile east of County Road 11. Terrace Oaks East has several trails for walking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and more!


The park also provides access to Terrace Oaks West Park.

Mountain Bike Trails

Weather permitting, the mountain bike trails are open April 1 through Oct. 31. Trails may close during and following heavy rainfall as riding on wet trails does create significant short and long term damage. 
 

Winter Ski Chalet


 Weather permitting, Terrace Oaks Ski Chalet is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. December through February.

Nature Play Area

The Nature Play Area features natural elements that allow kids of all ages to climb, jump, build and explore. Features include painted animal tracks, tree cookies, climbing logs and rocks, building sticks and limestone block benches.
