Burnsville City Hall has multiple rooms available for public rental. All of the rooms allow for renters to bring their own computer or tablet and use built-in projectors/screens to display presentations, slideshows and other documents.
Microphones and speakers are available upon request.
Conference Rooms
The Council Chambers is located in the upper level of City Hall and is approximately 1,400 square feet. The room features state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and camera systems for recording are available for an additional fee. It is typically reserved for formal business meetings, lectures, teleconferences and weddings.
Capacity:
The Dakota and Nicollet Rooms (sometimes collectively known as "the community rooms") are located in the lower level of City Hall. These rooms can be combined into one large room that's approximately 3,800 square feet or be divided into smaller rooms. These rooms are typically used for larger events such as art/craft shows, banquets, dance recitals, lectures, meetings, receptions and weddings.
Capacity and Additional Amenities:
Rental fees are determined based on the type of room, number of hours reserved and whether the renter is a resident, non-resident, business or non-profit. View the current rental rates (PDF) or contact the Recreation Department to discuss your needs.

Minnesota Statue 471.701 requires that a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest paid employees. The City of Burnsville’s titles and salaries as of January 1, 2021 are: City Manager: $177,138; Fire Chief: $168,471; PW Director: $168,471.
