Rink Snow Removal

During a snowfall, rinks are cleared as quickly as possible. Please be patient as crews have to clear roads, sidewalks and trails as well as rinks. On a weekend with a snow event, staffed outdoor skating rinks will close after one inch of snow has accumulated.

Priority

A sites will be first priority to be cleared and maintained, followed by B sites and then C sites.

Rink Rules

  • Hockey and Broomball may be played on the designated hockey rink
  • Wednesday nights are designated as "Open Hockey" nights and rinks may not be reserved for hockey practices
