Reclamation work consists of replacing all pavement, repairing and/or upgrading storm sewers and sanitary sewers, and spot replacement of curbs.
Rehabilitation work consists of replacing the top 2" of pavement and minor utility work.

- Both areas are substantially complete
- Buck Hill Road
- Ridges Area: pending installation of the flashing light system for the two pedestrian crossings on Nicollet Blvd. The system will be installed as soon as it is delivered - there has been supply chain issues contributing to the delayed delivery.
22-102
- All areas are now substantially complete:
- Colonial Park
- Southcross Heights
- West Park
- Burnell Park

Special Assessment Payments
The interest free pre-payment period for special assessments is available through 11/15/2022. There are three payment options:
- In person at City Hall (open M-F; 8:00am - 4:30pm)
- Via mail - must be received in our office by 11/15/2022
- Online until 7:00pm on 11/14/2022
Assessments not paid by 11/15/2022 will be sent to Dakota County Taxation for certification to your 2023 property taxes.

When looking at the map legend, 'Substantially Complete' means that the roadwork is mostly done and only minor work remains such as clean-up or turf establishment, etc. Once a project is 100% completed, it will be removed from this map.
Timeline
- Feb. 16, 2021: Council ordered preliminary report for the 2022 Street Improvement Projects
- April-October 2021: Staff studied project areas and drafted a preliminary report
- Sept. 22, 2021: Open house at James Avenue cul-de-sac
- Sept. 23, 2021: Open house at Hollows Park
- Sept. 29, 2021: Open house at City Hall
- Sept. 30, 2021: Open house at Nicollet Commons Park
- Dec. 7, 2021: Council received preliminary report and call for public improvement hearing
- Jan. 5, 2022: Ridges Area virtual Open House via Zoom
- Feb. 15, 2022: Council held public improvement meeting
- February 2022: Received bids
- April 19, 2022: Council to hold assessment hearing and award contracts
- April - October 2022: Construction occurs
- Nov. 15, 2022: Assessment pre-payment deadline
- Spring 2023: Final completion
