Fall Photo Contest

Head outside to explore the beautiful fall season in Burnsville’s parks as part of the Parks Scavenger Hunt –Fall Edition! Get outside and enjoy all that Burnsville parks have to offer during this scenic time of year. Choose two of the parks listed below and take a selfie in front of one of the amenities at each location. Winners receive will gift cards to Burnsville restaurants.

Pumpkin Carving Contest 

Halloween is approaching and that means its time to carve some pumpkins! Submit a photo of your best pumpkin carving to scott.heitkamp@burnsvillemn.gov for your chance to win a gift card to local businesses.

Halloween Fest on the Go

Boys and ghouls all of ages are invited to this family- friendly event that includes a drive-thru illuminated trick-or-treat trail. 

Ages: All ages-costumes encouraged!

Date: Friday, October 30

Time: 5:30-7 pm (session one), 7-8:30 pm (session two)

Cost: $10 per vehicle

Pre-registration Is required at burnsvillemn.gov/recreation         

Grandparents and Me Pop Up Party 

Drive through Neill Park where Recreation staff will greet you with a bag full of goodies to show your appreciation for your grandparents. Goodie bags will include coloring pages, activities and letters to send your grandparents.
