Wednesday in the Park – Civic Center Concerts 
Civic Center Park, 75 Civic Center Pkwy. at 7 p.m.

The Wednesday in the Park Concert Series sponsored by Burnsville, Eagan, Savage - Independent School 191 Community Education Department and the City of Burnsville provides musical entertainment for your listening pleasure.

Concerts are planned for outdoors at the Civic Center Park Amphitheater pending good weather. If the weather is undesirable, the concerts will be held at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway. If you donate a non-perishable food item you can receive a Pepsi-product in exchange. The Burnsville Senior Center will also sell popcorn for $1. 
June 24: Riverside Swing Band (1930s and 40s swing)
July 1: The Whitesidewalls (doo-wop, rockabilly and rock and roll)
July 8:  My Sweet Patootie (modern vaudeville, roots and ragtime) 
July 15:  Tricia & the Toonies (music, skits, puppets and audience participation)
July 22:  Dakota Valley Summer Pops and Chorale  
July 29:  High Country (rockin' country) 
Aug. 5:  Remembering the King (an Elvis tribute featuring Steve Marcio)

Thursday Rockin’ Readers
Nicollet Commons Park, 12600 Nicollet Ave. at 11:15 a.m.

Prior to Rockin’ Lunch Hour Concerts, elementary principals from Independent School District 191 will read some great books to kids. Books are geared toward elementary and preschool children. Sponsored by Independent School District 191 and City of Burnsville. Below is a list of principals who are scheduled to read.

Noon performances at Nicollet Commons Park are back! These performances will run throughout the summer and are geared toward preschool-aged audiences. Grab the kids and come down to the park for a rockin’ good time!
