Wednesday in the Park – Civic Center Concerts 
Civic Center Park Amphitheater, 75 Civic Center Pkwy. at 7 p.m.
(Rain location at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway)

The Wednesday in the Park Concert Series sponsored by Burnsville, Eagan, Savage - Independent School 191 Community Education Department and the City of Burnsville provides musical entertainment for your listening pleasure.

Bring a non-perishable food item to donate in exchange for a soft-drink. The Burnsville Senior Center also sells popcorn for $1. Wednesdays in August will include family activities at 6 p.m.
July 11: Riverside Rockets (early rock and roll)
July 18: Alma Andina (Andean and Latin American)
July 25:  Rock It Man (dueling pianos) 
Aug. 1:  We Are the Willows (orchestral indie rock)
Pre-concert activity: All-ages kickball game and wood carving demonstrations
Aug. 8:  Local artists from THE GARAGE 
Pre-concert activity: Tours of THE GARAGE all-ages music venue (located in Civic Center Park)
Aug. 15:  The High 48s (classic and modern bluegrass)
Pre-concert activity: Log rolling, photo booth, instrument carving and more


Thursday Rockin’ Readers
Nicollet Commons Park, 12600 Nicollet Ave. at 11:15 a.m.

Prior to Rockin’ Lunch Hour Concerts, elementary principals from Independent School District 191 will read some great books to kids. Books are geared toward elementary and preschool children. Sponsored by Independent School District 191 and City of Burnsville.

NEW! Pop Up Parenting at 10 a.m.
An ECFE family educator will be available for casual discussion, engaging activities and to provide family resources for families with children birth to grade 3.

Noon performances at Nicollet Commons Park run throughout the summer and are geared toward elementary-aged audiences. Grab the kids and come down to the park for a rockin’ good time!

Friday Night "Flicks on the Bricks"
Nicollet Commons Park, 12600 Nicollet Ave. Seating at 7:30 p.m. – show begins at dusk

Get cozy in the park with your friends and popcorn, and dive into some of your favorite movies. Pre-show music will be provided by one of Apple Valley High School’s most talented musicians, Graden Hill.
