The policies combined were Street Snow Removal; Sidewalk Snow Removal; Repair of Mailbox Damage Due to Winter Street Maintenance; Repair of Boulevard Sod Damage Due to Winter Street Maintenance; and the Snowbird policy (5.150-5.190). The new comprehensive policy is based upon the League of Minnesota Cities template snow and ice control policy. [View Combined Policy 5.150]

The following items have been amended from the previous policies:

2) The City does repair sod and turf damage caused by snow and ice removal, including damage caused by sidewalk snow
removal activities.

3) The City does not repair other private improvements such as landscaping or irrigation systems damaged by snow removal
equipment and activities.
