County Road 42
Dakota & Scott Counties will be expanding CSAH 42 to a 6-lane highway from Joppa Avenue/Glendale Road in Savage, Scott County to just east of CSAH 5 in Burnsville, Dakota County. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2007. CSAH 42 will remain open during construction.

Trunk Highway 13 and County Highway 5 Interchange Project
The City of Burnsville, in cooperation with project partners Dakota County and Mn/DOT, along with its consultant, Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH), is conducting roadway design and environmental work for improvements to the State Trunk Highway 13 (TH 13) and County Highway 5 (CH 5) intersection, located in the City of Burnsville.  [more...]

2009 I35W Hot Lane Improvements/Urban Partnership Agreement
Minnesota has been awarded $133.3 million through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Urban Partnership Agreement program for strategies to reduce traffic congestion in the Twin Cities. Money from the UPA will be used to improve traffic flow on I-35W between downtown Minneapolis and the southern suburbs.
