The City of Burnsville is requesting written proposals from qualified companies who are capable of providing professional consulting services to evaluate and analyze City needs, and are able to provide integrative services to design, develop and assist the City in implementing a job classification and total compensation system.

Qualified companies are invited to submit five (5) copies of the Statement of Proposal as described in the RFP.

PROPOSAL DUE DATE:  Thursday, May 14 at 4 p.m.

The City of Burnsville is seeking written proposals from qualified consultants to assist the Community Development Department in preparation of a redevelopment plan for the Burnsville Center and County Road 42 Corridor area.

The City of Burnsville, Minnesota is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide venue management services for the Ames Center, (formerly known as the Burnsville Performing Arts Center).

Qualified vendors are invited to submit six (6) copies (either paper or on a flash drive) of the Statement of Proposal as described in the City’s RFP.

PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE:    Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m.
PROPOSAL DUE DATE:                    Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m.       
Recent Bid Results
The Public Works Division coordinates most infrastructure construction projects. Engineering uses online services Quest CDN to provide information about City projects, downloadable bidding documents.

Alternative dissemination of bids and requests 
Starting August 2014, the City will disseminate requests for bids, requests for proposals, and requests for information on Quest CDN and this website per Minnesota Statutes 331A.03 Subd. 3 Alternative dissemination of bids and requests.

Bid Limits
  • Bid amounts of $100,000
    • The city of Burnsville is required to use a formal, sealed and competitive bidding process per the State of Minnesota’s Uniform Municipal contracting Law Chapter 471.345.
  • Bid amounts of less than $100,000
    • A formal bid is not required.
    • Local governments must receive at least two quotes.
    • City may still choose to use formal sealed and competitive bidding process at its discretion.
  • Small Purchases
    • City of Burnsville divisions are authorized to make small purchases up to $4,999.
