Posts will go out live on Twitter and Facebook as part of a “Virtual Open House.” Followers of the Virtual Open House will see what it’s like to read from a teleprompter, go behind the camera, experience what it’s like in the control room, edit backgrounds onto a green screen and learn about BCTV’s mobile production truck. Community members can also post questions for BCTV staff to answer live.

Follow the Virtual Open House at:

The Burnsville City Council and District 191 School Board have formed a partnership that aims to improve communication with residents, increase education and involvement in the community by youth, and maximize use of public dollars.

The partnership also aims to improve the quality and amount of programming available to citizens, both on cable television and on the internet. The basis of the agreement is the 50/50 ownership approach to the facility.
