3.2 Percent On-Sale
To apply for a 3.2 Percent Temporary license, the licensee has to be a non-profit, charitable or religious organization that has been in existence for three (3) years. It can be used for an event no longer than three (3) consecutive days and may authorize on-sales on premises other than premises the licensee owns or permanently occupies. The licensee may contract for 3.2 percent malt liquor and wine catering services with the holder of a full year on-sale liquor licensed issued by the City. Proof of liability insurance or affidavit must be provided.
To apply for an Intoxicating license the licensee has to be a charitable organization that has been in existence for three years and has to be in conjunction with a social event within the city sponsored by the licensee. It authorizes the on-sale of intoxicating, 3.2 percent and wine for not more than four (4) consecutive days, and may authorize sales on premises other than the premises the licensee owns or permanently occupies. No licensee can obtain more than one license in a twelve (12) month period. The licensee may contract for intoxicating liquor catering services from a full year on-sale liquor license holder with the City and may provide that persons serving liquor at the social event are the servers/employees of the full year on-sale holder.
