Learn to Skate Program
Winter Learn to Skate Lessons

Winter lesson registration is now open!! You can still register in person at the Ice Center or call the coordinator to see what classes are still available.  

Classes will be on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings starting the week of Jan. 15.

**Added Class: Hockey Tracks 1 on Saturdays! The practice will be from 11:30am - noon, and the lesson afterwards from noon - 12:30pm.
     

Registration will open Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 5 p.m. at the Ice Center and online.  
Online registrations are not available at this time.

Completed registration applications and lesson fees can be dropped off in person at the Ice Center before the official registration opens. Early registrations will be processed after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, in the order in which they were received.

General Information

  • Please arrive early for general information on lessons and skate fitting if necessary.
  • Skate rental: Rentals are FREE for registered skaters!! (size 8 child through 13 adult available in limited quantities)
  • Skate sharpening: $5
  • Helmets are required for all hockey classes and strongly recommended for P.A.L.S., Snowplow Sam and Basic 1 & 2  level skaters.
  • No sticks or pucks are used in hockey tracks classes.
  • Dress warm and wear gloves or mittens.
  • Double blades are not recommended.
