How Volunteers Help

Neighborhood Volunteers

  • Pick up litter along boulevards and in parks.
  • Plant trees.
  • Are involved in community beautification projects.

 

Community Volunteers

  • Organize Neighborhood Watch Groups.
  • Participate in National Night Out Programs.
  • Attend Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training.

 

Working with the Police Department

Volunteers work with the Burnsville Police Department helping in the Property Room, analyzing crime statistics and performing other roles.

 

Boards & Committees

Residents serve on volunteer boards and committees, plan community celebrations and assist recreation programmers with youth activities.
