Burnsville Ice Center
The Burnsville Ice Center will close from March 15, 2010 – September 20, 2010 (tentative reopening date) for major renovations including a complete overhaul of the existing refrigeration plant with a geothermal system to replace both rink floors and the existing mechanical equipment. The present refrigeration system and mechanical equipment was installed when the Ice Center was constructed in 1972 (additional rink in 1985). Once the renovation is complete the City will save approximately $77,000 through reduced heating and cooling costs. [More information...]
During a portion of the renovation process (March 15-July31), all activities will relocate to Hasse Arena in Lakeville at 8525 215th St. West – www.lakevillearenas.org. From August 1st - reopening we will not have any ice available for activities or rent.

The Burnsville Ice Center provides year-round indoor skating opportunities including skating instruction, hockey skill development/improvement, Annual Ice Show, numerous hockey tournaments, public skating and skate rental. Public skating hours offered daily, as well as skate rental and sharpening.
