Curb removals are scheduled for the week of 8/7/17. Curb replacements are scheduled for the week of 8/14/17. Street reclamation is scheduled for late in the week of 8/14/17. Grading and placement of the first layer of asphalt will take place after the street reclamation. The project will be substantially completed by 8/25/17.

The Contractor is tentatively scheduled to start work in this area towards the end of July. The Contractor is required to have the area substantially completed by 8/25/17.

The City has awarded a contract to McNamara Contracting, Inc. for the street improvements in the Crosstown Estates 2nd Addition neighborhood as a part of the City’s 2017 Street Reclamation Project.
A neighborhood meeting is being held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 3:30 to 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at Burnsville City Hall for property owners interested in learning more about this project. A formal letter explaining the project and providing notification of the neighborhood meeting was recently mailed to property owners.
City staff completed a preconstruction meeting with representatives from McNamara Contracting, Inc. and private utility companies. At this meeting, the project schedule was discussed. McNamara Contracting tentatively plans to start work in the Portland Avenue cul de sac around Monday, July 9th. Work within the Portland Avenue cul de sac expected to be complete by the end of July. Construction activities are very weather dependent so the Contractor’s schedule may change due to weather.
