Special assessments for the project were approved by the City Council at their meeting on September 5, 2017. Assessment costs and payment information is available in the letters sent on August 18, 2017. Property owners wishing to pay their special assessments in-full for the street work are reminded that payment is due no later than Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

Due to a delay in materials delivery, the Contractor delayed the installation of sidewalk till this week. Early in the week of 6/26/17 sidewalks will be poured and mid to late week the streets will be milled. Paving is tentatively scheduled from 7/5/17 to 7/7/17.
June 19, 2017
The Contractor will be installing pedestrian ramps in areas where sidewalk was removed later in the week of 6/19/17. Milling of the streets may start this week. Paving of the streets is tentatively scheduled for the week of 6/26/17.

The City has awarded a contract to Valley Paving, Inc. to perform the street rehabilitation project in the Greenhaven Drive area as part of the City's 2017 Street Rehabilitation Project.
The project is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday May 22, 2017
. The project is expected to take approximately six (6) weeks to complete and will generally be constructed in the following sequence:
-Remove and replace damaged curb and driveways.
-Adjust miscellaneous utilities.
-Restore disturbed areas.
-Mill and pave the streets.
The assessment hearing for this work is tentatively scheduled for September 5, 2017. Properties proposed to be assessed will receive further notice of this meeting prior to that date.

A neighborhood meeting is being held on
Wednesday, January 18, 2017
:30 to 6:00 PM
in the City Council Chambers at Burnsville City Hall for property owners interested in learning more about this project.
A formal letter explaining the project and providing notification of the neighborhood meeting was recently mailed to property owners. Property owners with questions are encouraged to contact the City’s Engineering Department at 952-895-4534. A copy of the project area map can be viewed by clicking the link below:
