June 19, 2017
The Contractor will be installing pedestrian ramps in areas where sidewalk was removed later in the week of 6/19/17.  Milling of the streets may start this week.  Paving of the streets is tentatively scheduled for the week of 6/26/17.

The Contractor is planning to start work on Tuesday (5/30/17).

May 19, 2017

Due to weather the Contractor is delaying the start of this project.  The new start date will be posted on this web page when it becomes available.

May 16, 2017

The City has awarded a contract to Valley Paving, Inc. to perform the street rehabilitation project in the Greenhaven Drive area as part of the City's 2017 Street Rehabilitation Project.  The project is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday May 22, 2017.  The project is expected to take approximately six (6) weeks to complete and will generally be constructed in the following sequence: 

-Remove and replace damaged curb and driveways.
-Adjust miscellaneous utilities. 
-Restore disturbed areas.
-Mill and pave the streets.

The assessment hearing for this work is tentatively scheduled for September 5, 2017.  Properties proposed to be assessed will receive further notice of this meeting prior to that date.

A project start notification letter was sent to the affected residents.  Regular updates will be posted to this page as construction occurs.

Jan. 3, 2017

A neighborhood meeting is being held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 3:30 to 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at Burnsville City Hall for property owners interested in learning more about this project.

A formal letter explaining the project and providing notification of the neighborhood meeting was recently mailed to property owners.  Property owners with questions are encouraged to contact the City’s Engineering Department at 952-895-4534.  A copy of the project area map can be viewed by clicking the link below:
