The City has awarded a contract to Valley Paving, Inc. to perform pavement rehabilitation along 143rd Street (from County Road 5 to Burnhaven Drive) and Burngarten Drive (from Irving Avenue to County Road 42) as part of the City’s 2013 Street Rehabilitation Project. The project schedule for this area includes a tentative start date of late-May or early-June. The project is expected to take around three (3) weeks from when the work starts. The project will provide utility structure improvements, concrete curb and sidewalk repairs, and a two-inch (2”) overlay of the bituminous pavement surface. Concrete driveway openings will be reconstructed if they are in need of repair.
Additional schedule and construction updates will be posted a week prior to work occurring along these roads. Please continue to check back for updates.
