Burnsville Lions Skate Park Grand Opening

Sept. 17 | 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Free Event

Celebrate the grand opening of the newly upgraded, 11,500 square-foot Burnsville Lions Skate Park. The event will feature a variety of speakers, demonstrations, a ribbon cutting, music, informal contests and prizes.

11 a.m. Festivities begin with free hot dogs, beverages and chips provided by the Burnsville Lions Club

Welcome and speakers | Burnsville Lions Club, Skate Park Committee representative, Mayor of Burnsville and Skate Park Designer from Stantec.
11:50 a.m. Demonstrations by local skaters
12:30 p.m. Ribbon cutting ceremony
12:35 p.m. Music, skating with the pros and informal contests with prizes

While there check out the vendor booths: Rotary Club, Burnsville Lions Club, City of Skate, Buck Hill, 3rd Lair, Calsurf, Thrasher Camps and Familia.

To support your local skate park. Funds will be used for maintenance and additional amenities.

Phase II is complete and skaters are raving about the upgrades.

Burnsville Skate Park
Located in Civic Center Park between 130th and 134th streets on Civic Center Parkway. A 11,500-square-foot outdoor facility for skateboarders, scooters, inline skaters and bikers.

FREE to the general public!

5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
