  1. Burnsville Police Citizens Academy

    Take a free 11-week course this fall, taught by Burnsville Police Officers, to become familiar with police work and how the community can help prevent crime. The course is open to adults ages 18+ who live or work in Burnsville. Applications are due Aug. 9. Classes are held Thursday evenings Sept. 4 – Nov. 12, 2014 from 6-9:30 p.m. in Burnsville City Hall. (Please note: the last week of class will be held on a Wednesday)

  2. Halloween Fest at Nicollet Commons Park

    October 24, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Nicollet Commons Park

    Ghosts and goblins, princesses and superheroes, witches and warlocks - join the Halloween fun during the Nicollet Commons Park Halloween Fest. The festival will include an illuminated "treat trail" around the park, entertainment by Kidsdance, face painting and more. New this year, fire dancers and stilt walkers will show off their skills. Families are invited to come in costume. Parking is available at the Ames Center parking deck or the Heart of the City parking ramp.
