    BCTV Studio open to public access users. Reservations need to be made in advance.

    Learn about Burnsville Community Television! BCTV staff will give you a tour and discuss all we have to offer. This class is a pre-requisite fro all other classes.

  1. Adult Open Hockey

    May 26, 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Burnsville Ice Center

    Adult Open hockey is for skaters 18 and older only, and a helmet is required. We allow up to 30 skaters and 3 goalies.

All equipment is required for any skater 17 & under. Helmets are required for any skater 18 & older. Scrimmages, games, & lessons are not allowed at any time.

    Burnsville City Hall is closed in observance of Memorial Day.

  2. Memorial Day Observance hosted by the Sweet Sioux Garden Club

    May 25, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ Bicentennial Garden

    Observe Memorial Day with the Sweet Sioux Garden Club. Ceremony will begin at 9:30 in the Bicentennial Garden. Refreshments to follow in the City Hall Council Chambers (100 Civic Center Parkway).

  3. I Love Burnsville Week

    May 30 - June 6

    Every June, Burnsville hosts a week-long celebration of everything that makes our community a great place to live, work, and play! Events include a 5K race, softball and golf tournaments, recreation lessons in tennis and pickleball, an essay contest for youth, social activities at the Senior Center and Burnsville YMCA, recycling events and the ever-popular Friday Fest.

  4. Native Plant Market

    May 30, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ 75 Civic Center Parkway (across from City Hall)

    Help birds, butterflies and bees by growing native plants! Native wildflowers, ferns and grasses will be on sale from multiple vendors. The sale is held rain or shine. Only cash or checks are accepted.

Recreation Department

  1. Youth Tennis Lessons Session 4 (Evening Session) -- Registration Deadline

    May 26, All Day

    QuickStart Tennis is an exciting new format for learning tennis. The court size, the racket size, the balls, the scoring system and even the height of the net are all tailored to the child’s age and size. This program is designed to help children find success from the very first swing. QuickStart Tennis will also focus on the FUN of tennis through instruction, lecture, exciting games and playing time. Participants can sign up for multiple sessions and must provide their own tennis racket (contact the Burnsville Recreation Department if you are unable to obtain a racket).

  2. I Love Burnsville Golf Tournament -- Registration Deadline

    May 28, All Day @ Birnamwood Golf Course

    Birnamwood Golf Course's annual I Love Burnsville Week Two-Person Scramble will be held Friday, June 5. Registration deadline is May 28.

  3. Senior Health & Fitness Day

    May 28, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Nicollet Commons Park

    Take part in an active, educational and entertaining day. Activities for this year’s event will include a walk or roll through the park, fitness demonstrations, nutrition information and lunch. This event will take place rain or shine. In honor of the event's fifth anniversary participants will get their $5 back at the event. Register by May 21.

    The tournament is open to all D/E men’s teams and D women’s teams Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 27 at noon.
