Renewal

The City issues two-year animal licenses in January of even-numbered years. Licenses expire on Dec. 31 of odd-numbered years. (For example, a license obtained Jan. 15, 2020 will expire Dec. 31, 2021) The expiration date is printed on each tag

Additional Requirements

  • Proof of animal's current rabies vaccination
  • Dogs and cats must wear collars with their license tag attached at all times
