Burnsville is pleased to be a part of the Landscaping for Clean Water Program, which holds workshops for residents to learn about raingardens, native gardens and shoreline restorations.
Consider attending a FREE workshop and learn about how to build and maintain a raingarden in your own yard!
Two introductory workshops will be held in Burnsville in 2018:

If you are unable to attend one of these dates, Burnsville residents can also attend classes in other cities in Dakota County. The programs are organized and taught by experts from Dakota County Soil and Watershed Conversation District.
Workshops are open to all Dakota County residents. If you attend a Landscaping for Clean Water workshop, you will be eligible to apply for financial incentives through Dakota County that could help fund your water quality friendly project.
The City of Burnsville also offers grants of up to $1,000 for residents with qualified water quality improvement projects. Find out more information on the City grant program. Attending the Landscaping for Clean Water Workshop strengthens your grant application and improves your odds of receiving funding.
